Ground Beef and Broccoli + Steamed Sweet Potatoes

This is how huge the appetite of my 17-month-old is. Lately, we have noticed that 1-2 cups of rice isn't enough for him, and aside from his 3-4 main meals in a day, he still insists on eating snacks (fresh fruits, wheat bread, yogurt) in between. Let me share this hearty meal I prepared for him for today's lunch. 


Ground Beef and Broccoli + Sweet Potatoes + Mangoes





Ground Beef and Broccoli 

Ingredients

100 grams of lean ground beef 
1/2 of a broccoli head/ 1 cup of broccoli florets
Minced onion and garlic 


  1. Saute your garlic then your onion on a pan. Once cooked, add your lean ground beef.
  2. Let the beef simmer until it is fully cooked (fully brown). Add your chopped broccoli florets.
  3. Add a little bit of water to let the broccoli simmer and soften. Let cook for 5-10 minutes more until the broccoli is soft to the bite.
  4. Serve with rice.
