Banana Blossom (Puso ng Saging) Patties + Baked Potato with Cheddar, Cream Cheese and Spring Onions

The little boy has been sick since Friday, and I thought I'd whip up something yummy today to boost his appetite. I decided to use banana blossom (puso ng saying) for his vegetable patties today as it is a good source of dietary fiber and protein!

  1. Mix the chopped puso ng saying and egg in a bowl. You may add salt and pepper to your preference.
  2. On a non-stick pan, fry the puso ng saging and egg mixture into palm-sized patties. Make sure both sides of the patties are evenly cooked.

Easy Baked Potato

1 medium-sized potato
1 slice of cheddar cheese, chopped into tidbits
1 slice of cream cheese
1 teaspoon of finely chopped spring onion
Olive oil

  1. Using a fork, poke holes around your raw potato, and then coat the entire thing with olive oil.
  2. Microwave for 7-9 minutes under high heat.
  3. Take the potato out of the microwave, slice it in the middle, and lightly scrape the cooked potato to make space for the cheese.
