RAVE: The Honest Company Shampoo + Body Wash (And Where To Get Them in the Philippines)
We've always been heavy users of Mustela (I've raved about their products in previous posts) since Y was born. Now that he's already an active toddler, I felt the need to explore other baby skincare brands as he is gradually losing that fresh baby smell. I might have just found the solution to my mommy woes when we recently tried The Honest Co.'s shampoo and body wash!
The Honest Co. is a US-based company co-founded by celebrity Jessica Alba, and it is famous for producing baby skincare and baby products made without petrochemicals and artificial fragrances. It is a brand I've always wanted to try but haven't had the chance to as there is no local retailer that carries all their product lines yet.
I was more than thrilled when we finally got the chance to try The Honest Co.'s Honest Shampoo + Baby Wash as we were in dire need of something that can combat our toddler's asim (sweaty smell).
Honest Shampoo + Baby Wash is a gentle, 2-in-1 formula made with coconut oil, jojoba protein -no sulfates and parabens. According to The Honest Co.,website,it is:
We bathe Y twice a day with a 10 to 12-hour gap between the two baths. Using this shampoo+body wash leaves Y smelling fresh for hours, and I just love that he smells like creamsicles all day! It lathers up well, hence, one pump really goes a long way -two pumps would suffice one bath.
The best part of using this 2-in-1 wash is that it is made for the whole family! I find it very gentle for baby's delicate skin, but it can also perform well as a regular body wash for adults.
