Steamed Fish and Tofu with Black Beans, Malunggay Omelette
Y simply loves this protein-rich dish! For his daily dose of greens, I decided to include a malunggay omelette to this simple, yet yummy steamed fish meal.

Ingredients
Steamed Fish and Tofu
1/4 slab of fish fillet (I used cream dory for this meal)
1/4 cup of tofu, sliced into thin squares
1 teaspoon of black beans
Malunggay Omelette
1 medium-sized egg
1/2 cup of malunggay leaves
Procedure
- Steam the fish fillet and tofu squares into a pot. Meanwhile, blanche the black beans to decrease its saltiness.
- Once the fish fillet and tofu squares are cooked, add the blanched black beans to add flavor.
- Whisk your malunggay leaves with the eggs. On an non-stick pan, fry the malunggay omelette until cooked.
- Serve together with rice.
