Steamed Fish and Tofu with Black Beans, Malunggay Omelette

Y simply loves this protein-rich dish! For his daily dose of greens, I decided to include a malunggay omelette to this simple, yet yummy steamed fish meal.  
Steamed Fish and Tofu with Black Beans, Malunggay Omelette for Baby

Ingredients

Steamed Fish and Tofu 

1/4 slab of fish fillet (I used cream dory for this meal)
1/4 cup of tofu, sliced into thin squares
1 teaspoon of black beans

Malunggay Omelette

1 medium-sized egg
1/2 cup of malunggay leaves

Procedure

  1. Steam the fish fillet and tofu squares into a pot. Meanwhile, blanche the black beans to decrease its saltiness.
  2. Once the fish fillet and tofu squares are cooked, add the blanched black beans to add flavor. 
  3. Whisk your malunggay leaves with the eggs. On an non-stick pan, fry the malunggay omelette until cooked.
  4. Serve together with rice.
