Trying Out Almond and Hazelnut Milk + Healthy Smoothie Recipe
A few weeks ago, I bought almond and hazelnut milk from Healthy Options as I have been looking to try plant-based milk for Y and for the whole family. Y is still exclusively breastfed, and I wanted to explore milk options to give him not as a supplement, but as a beverage.
Y went through the unsweetened almond milk in only a few days. He loved drinking it after meals and in between snacks. I personally prefer almond milk better than hazelnut, as well.
Perhaps because Y isn't used to drinking sweet beverages (never gave him artificial or even natural fruit juices before), he's not fond as fond of the hazelnut milk as he was with almond.
Yesterday, I mixed hazelnut milk with his favorite fruits and he loved it!
Ingredients
1/2 cup hazelnutmilk
1/2 of a banana
1/2 of an apple
Blackberry
Blend everything until you get your desired consistency.
