Rave: Mustela Bébé (and Where to Get Them in the Philippines)

Mustela has been our brand of choice even before Y was born. Growing up with contact dermatitis, I have been extra careful on the things I put on my son's skin given the possibility that he might've inherited my skin condition. Y just turned a year old and our love for the Mustela Bébé line has been unfaltering.
My Mommy Essentials flatlay featuring our well-loved Mustela products

Mustela is a leading European brand of baby (and expectant mothers) skin care  produced by Expanscience Laboratories, France. Locally, their products are distributed by PHARMASAFE INC., and are available in standalone mall kiosks and in Mothercare branches.   They claim to be the world's #1 baby skin expert and my husband and I have always attested to this.

We've been using Mustela Bébé since he was a newborn.
We have been using this since Y's first bath in the hospital until today. It keeps the Y's skin hydrated and moisturised throughout the day  and a little goes a long way as it is very sudsy. It is also very economical as one jar can last us around 2-3 months. It keeps Y smelling fresh and clean all day long, and my in-laws loved how it smells so much that they bought one to use for themselves.

Still using the same Head and Body wash today!

Mustela Vitamin Barrier Cream

Y is on cloth diapers exclusively and although this minimises his getting rashes significantly, he still sometimes get some mild redness around his genital and perianal area. Vitamin Barrier Cream does wonders for us as his mild rashes disappear within minutes (yes, minutes!) of putting a thin layer. We still haven't finished our first tube so it's really a bang for the buck.

Mustela Agua de Colonia

We rarely use this on Y because his body wash is enough to keep him smelling good throughout the day. I use this personally and it smells sooooo good!
I have nothing but praises for this brand as their products have consistently kept my son's skin hydrated and smelling fresh. Although we are generally open to trying out new brands for Y's skin care, as of the moment, I honestly see no reason to. Their products are a bit on the pricier side (compared with the most popular baby skin care brands like Nivea Baby, Johnson&Johnson, and Aveeno), you definitely get value for your money as their products usually last long and are of the highest quality.
